Project

The project primarily focuses on reducing technical debt in the Equities IT domain and implementing long-term improvements. You will support the project and collaborate with the new QA team to implement the test framework from scratch. Additionally, you will refactor and enhance the existing codebase.

Responsibilities you'll have:

• Perform refactoring and improvements on the existing codebase to enhance maintainability, performance, and readability
• Work closely with the QA team to design and implement a testing framework from scratch
• Query database tables to extract and manipulate data as required by the project or business needs
• Extend the use of Splunk for more detailed analysis and real-time monitoring of functional data flow
• Support and optimize communication systems reliant on the FIX protocol
• Implement and improve systems for monitoring data flows in real-time, ensuring operational efficiency and early issue detection

Expected competences and knowledge

• +3 years of IT experience
• Advanced Python programming skills
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Database
• Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium or QTest
• FIX protocol and Splunk experience - nice to have
