Salary: 800 - 1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Tricity / Warsaw / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance data solutions. The role involves working with large datasets, optimizing data pipelines, and leveraging cloud technologies to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop and optimize big data processing solutions using Databricks and PySpark.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data transformation, aggregation, and reporting
• Implement and manage data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures on AWS or Azure
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security, adhering to best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-driven initiatives
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for data engineering workflows

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and SQL and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and distributed data processing.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for data solutions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and big data processing frameworks.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
