Senior Python Developer (Flask)

Salary: 800 - 1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 1 day per week from the office)

Project

---

Developers are needed to assist in developing the process/automation/support for the new Software Asset Management process.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Develop and maintain robust Python applications using the Flask framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve complex systems
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while ensuring optimal performance
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Utilize SQL databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL for application data management
• Implement Celery and RabbitMQ for distributed task management and message brokering
• Ensure high-quality software development practices, including version control with GIT and project management using JIRA
• Contribute to front-end development with TypeScript and Angular (knowledge of Angular Material is a plus)

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Must Have:
  • Strong proficiency in Python with proven experience in developing applications using Flask (min. 5 years)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (MariaDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with Celery and RabbitMQ for task processing and messaging
  • Basic Linux knowledge (especially Red Hat)
  • Experience with GIT for version control
  • Familiarity with JIRA for project management and issue tracking
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Angular and Angular Material
  • Familiarity with JavaScript
  • Experience with Oracle DB, DB2, or other database engines
