Project

We are looking for a Senior Server Support Specialist to join our client’s team and help improve server support operations. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment alongside a team of over a dozen internal employees and external consultants, playing a key role in supporting and developing the client’s server infrastructure.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Server Engineering team (governance, security, architecture & design) to shape the future of the client’s infrastructure. Additionally, you will work with an external company responsible for daily support operations from India. Your primary focus will be reducing the number and duration of major incidents, optimizing resources (people, servers, licenses), and enhancing support for IT operations and development teams.

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of experience managing hundreds of Windows/Linux servers or working with VMware/Azure environments
• Experience with management tools like SCCM or RedHat Satellite
• Knowledge of Azure technologies or VMware virtualization operations and governance, with a focus on automation, analysis, and security
• Experience in server automation to optimize spend, identify security risks, and ensure compliance
• Familiarity with server monitoring and management tools
• Strong skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting server issues, responding to incidents, and providing technical consultation
• Experience in planning and controlling IT operations, including patch management, security hardening, upgrades, and monitoring
• Proficiency in English (B2 level), both spoken and written
