Senior Developer

Location: Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our client's team in Warsaw. In this role, you will work on building large-scale data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem while leveraging technologies such as Scala (preferred), Java, Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop. If you are passionate about data, cloud solutions, and optimizing performance, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines on AWS.
• Work with Apache Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, Cassandra to process and store data efficiently.
• Implement Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Ensure timely project delivery while complying with local and international regulations.
• Lead the execution of pilot projects and ensure a seamless handover to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔️ 6+ years of experience in data engineering.

✔️ Proficiency in Scala (preferred) or Java.

✔️ Strong background in AWS cloud services.

✔️ Expertise in SQL and database management.

✔️ Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, MySQL, and Cassandra.

✔️ Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.

✔️ Ability to build and optimize large-scale data pipelines.

✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
