We are seeking a passionate and experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team in Warsaw. In this hybrid role, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical production systems. You’ll bring your expertise in Java application support, Unix/Linux systems, SQL, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise environments. This position blends software engineering with operations to drive high availability and system health.
- Ensure reliability and availability of critical production services and infrastructure.
- Manage and resolve production incidents effectively, following ITSM/ITIL best practices.
- Support and optimize Java-based applications, with deep understanding of JVM tuning, memory management, and threading issues.
- Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation tools to improve system observability and incident response.
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, from infrastructure, OS (Unix/Linux), middleware, to the application layer.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for diagnostics and data validation.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement resilient system designs.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident reviews, and drive post-mortem improvements.
- Continuously improve deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and overall release processes.
- 4+ years of experience in Production Support / SRE / DevOps roles in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in Java application support.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Solid hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
- Experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in large-scale server environments and distributed systems.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
