We’re Looking for a Product Owner – Data

Data-Driven Strategist. Tech Connector. Inspiring Collaborator. Product Visionary.

Kodiak Hub is searching for a Product Owner – Data to bridge the gap between Product, Tech, and Commercial teams. This is a highly technical role, where you will work closely with our Data Engineers and Scientists to shape data-driven features and solutions. You’ll also need to roll up your sleeves and independently explore our platform’s database using MySQL and PowerBI to gain insights and inform development priorities.

What You’ll Do

As a Product Owner – Data, you’ll take ownership of:

• Stakeholder Needs: Capturing, mapping, and analyzing user and stakeholder requirements, with a focus on data and analytics.
• Story Creation: Translating complex data and technical requirements into actionable Jira stories and use cases.
• Roadmap Prioritization: Driving the development of AI, big data, and machine learning features within Kodiak Hub’s Product Roadmap.
• Technical Exploration: Exploring the platform database independently using MySQL and PowerBI to gain insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaboration: Partnering closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Developers to build and refine technical solutions.
• Agile Execution: Advocating for and facilitating agile Scrum methodologies to enable efficient development cycles.
• Customer Communication: Engaging with customers to understand technical data-specific needs and ensure their success.
• Product Materials: Creating impactful communication tools that showcase data-driven feature benefits.

What We’re Looking For

We believe you’ll excel in this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS company, particularly with data-focused features.
• A solid technical background, including hands-on experience with MySQL and PowerBI for data exploration and analysis.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools (big plus!).
• Familiarity with Procurement, SRM, or supply chain management (nice to have).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a big-picture mindset.
• A structured approach to tasks and exceptional time management abilities.
• Energy, ambition, and a knack for building strong relationships across teams.
• Fluency in professional English (German is a bonus).
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering).
