We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our international team working on secure digital identity and authorization systems for the public sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and security of our products through both manual and automated testing. We work with modern technologies and follow strict security standards in a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Development of secure applications for digital identity management
- Collaboration with DevOps, mobile, and security teams
- Long-term public sector project (2–3 years, with extension possible)
- Remote work from within the EU, with occasional on-site meetings
- Planned start date: June 2025
- Design and execution of manual and automated test cases for digital identity applications
- Development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
- API testing and validation of integration points
- Design and execution of performance/load tests
- Documentation of issues and close collaboration with developers on resolution
- Participation in daily stand-ups and project meetings
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing test cases across different test levels (Component, Integration, End-to-End)
- Hands-on experience with at least one testing tool: Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber/Serenity, JMeter, or Gatling
- Experience with mobile test automation using Appium (Java) and GitLab integration
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman or Bruno, with GitLab integration
- Experience with CI/CD test integration
- Basic understanding of security testing related to authentication and authorization systems
- Fluency in both German and English (minimum B2 level)
- Familiarity with identity management protocols: OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect
- Experience in mobile application security testing
- Knowledge of digital identity security standards (e.g. eIDAS, FIDO)
- Experience with performance testing tools such as K6
- Understanding of test data management strategies
