QA Engineer with German

B2B | Remote (EU-based) | Full-time | Long-term project | Start: June 2025

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong manual testing skills to join our team developing digital identity and authorization applications. You will primarily focus on testing mobile applications (Android & iOS), with additional responsibilities for web application testing. While the role focuses on manual testing, there will be opportunities to contribute to automation efforts based on your skills and interests.

Key Requirements

• Experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS)
• Experience in testing web applications
• Ability to create clear test cases based on functional requirements
• Basic understanding of authentication flows and identity verification processes
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of mobile accessibility testing
• Experience with test automation tools like:
• Playwright for web automation
• Appium for mobile automation
• Postman or Bruno for API testing
• Understanding of security concepts for mobile applications
• Experience testing biometric authentication features
• Proficiency in German (minimum B1 level)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of mobile applications (primarily) and web applications
• Create and maintain detailed test cases for mobile and web interfaces
• Execute regression testing for new releases
• Report and track bugs in our issue management system
• Verify fixes and perform re-testing
• Collaborate with developers to help resolve quality issues
• Participate in test planning and review sessions
• Ensure applications meet quality standards across different devices and platforms
• Test user flows with a focus on usability and user experience
• Opportunity to develop and maintain basic test automation scripts (based on interest and skills)
