SAP MDG Functional Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to join our dynamic team. This role involves serving as the bridge between business users and technical teams, facilitating workshops, gathering and validating requirements, and defining optimal processes to drive Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate discovery workshops with client stakeholders.
• Gather, prioritize, and validate business requirements during joint discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Document processes, requirements, and key findings from workshops.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and validation of requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Define and design To-Be processes based on captured requirements.
• Collaborate with solution architects to support the creation of high-level design documentation.
• Lead workshops and sessions to communicate findings and proposed solutions effectively.
• Build strong relationships with client teams, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Undertake occasional business trips as needed to support project delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP MDG and MDM.
• Proven expertise in facilitating workshops and conducting requirements-gathering sessions.
• Strong analytical skills for requirement validation and process design.
• Ability to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to adapt and perform in hybrid working environments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with additional SAP modules or related technologies.
• Knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in SAP MDG and MDM.
• Relevant certifications in SAP MDG or related areas.
• Experience in project management or leadership roles.
