Senior Java Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key contributor to our IT team, you will provide technical guidance and support to IT analysts and developers, while playing a crucial role in major projects involving our business core platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical guidance and support to IT analysts and developers

* Act as a key contributor to major projects involving business core platforms

* Collaborate with architects, security, and infrastructure teams to design and evolve infrastructure solutions

* Ensure application compliance with security standards and maintain operational excellence

* Participate in the IT transformation program, including initiatives for DevOps adoption, Agile practices, and AI readiness

* Facilitate effective communication and presentations for stakeholders across various levels of seniority

Requirements:

Must-Have:

* 6+ years of professional experience in backend development

* Expertise in Java microservices / JEE development and related tools

* Familiarity with OS environments such as Linux, AIX, and Windows

* Awareness of IT quality and security standards, functional and technical architecture principles

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken)

* Agile project experience

Good to Have:

* Knowledge of Oracle PL-SQL and Oracle components (Database, Analytics Server, WebLogic)

* Experience with tools like IBM WebSphere, MQ, AXWAY CFT, and WTX IBM

* Python

* Expertise in cloud platforms and cloud migration projects

* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

* Proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to perform under time pressure
