Senior Java/Spring Boot API Developer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable APIs for web-based applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Architect backend systems to meet the demands of modern web applications.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Utilize 8+ years of experience with PL/SQL to implement Oracle DB for OLTP processing, optimizing database performance.
• Leverage 3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka for developing consumer and producer components, supporting real-time data streaming.
• Implement security protocols such as RBAC and SSO, ensuring secure application access.
• Use OAuth flows for robust authentication and authorization of API access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver features aligned with business objectives.
• Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers to ensure team excellence.

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, focusing on RESTful API design and implementation.
• 8+ years of expertise with PL/SQL and Oracle DB optimization.
• 3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Proven experience with security protocols, including RBAC, SSO integrations, and OAuth authentication flows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to design and implement complex systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with hands-on experience in agile development environments.
