ViQi Virtual Partner is an innovative voice-activated assistant designed to empower first responders in the field. It delivers rapid, hands-free access to critical information—like driver’s license, license plate, and VIN lookups—via natural language processing and integration with public safety databases. With ViQi, officers stay more informed, maintain situational awareness, and operate more safely and efficiently.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Senior C# Engineer to join our engineering team and help enhance and expand the capabilities of ViQi VIRTUAL PARTNER.
Basic Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience, working with C# and Python.
- Experience leveraging chatbot technologies and conversational design. e.g. AWS LexBot, GCP Dialogflow, Voiceflow, etc.
- Expert knowledge of software design and best practices for full development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing methodology, security, and audit/monitoring requirements.
- Strong experience developing for containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless infrastructure (e.g. AWS Lambda).
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions and configuration: Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate in a multinational environment with teams spanning the globe.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with Machine Learning operations lifecycle.
- Familiarity working with LLMs (large language models).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
