Currently, Reffine is recruiting an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer who will become an integral part of one of our teams and support all activities related to development, refinement, testing, releases, and monitoring.
Your main responsibility will be developing scalable, efficient, and stable test suites for our applications using Playwright and Cypress. We are looking for someone who is committed to advancing test automation and continuously seeking improvements in all quality-related areas.
You can work remotely, but the ability to work from our office two days a week is a strong plus.
Daily duties:
- Create new and maintain existing test automation scripts in Playwright and Cypress (TS).
- Manually test new features and bug fixes.
- Assist in refining new features by verifying requirements and designs, and by providing estimates.
- Participate in delivering new features through risk/impact analysis and troubleshooting.
- Provide assistance to team members from other departments (PM, Content, Rollout, Analytics).
- Promote a Quality-First mindset across the company.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of commercial experience with automation testing.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of Playwright and, ideally Cypress as well (TS).
- Experience in migrating Cypress suites to Playwright is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with configuring automated tests within pipelines.
- Good spoken and written Polish and English (minimum B2 level).
- Experience in testing new features, bug reporting, and re-testing fixes.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical people.
- Ability to take the lead, propose improvements, and drive your own initiatives to enhance testing processes and overall quality.
- Knowledge of various testing tools and techniques.
- Experience in API testing (REST).
