Java Tech Lead (B2B)

Responsibilities

• You start a new project and have the possibility to build your own team.
• You are the team lead & technical lead of the development team responsible for developing Java EE applications for a dedicated customer in the German financial industry.
• You lead your team in an Agile way of working and are a mentor to others on technical aspects.
• Part of your job is project staffing, with the help of the team manager.
• You take ownership of problem-solving & prioritization.
• You are accountable for the delivery of quality & technical documentation.
• You are a contact point for the customer & project coordination.
• You have the possibility to develop yourself not only as a leader but also as a developer.
• You meet with your team in the office once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
• At least 6 Years of experience with Java Tech Stack, ideally with a subset of the following technologies and frameworks: Java 11+, Rest, Spring Batch, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Hibernate, MSSQL.
• Experience with AWS services (such as AWS Secrets Manager, AWS Read Replica) is a plus.
• You understand agile methodologies.
• You are proactive, responsible, and you know how to work as a team.
• Communication skills in German is a plus.
• Leadership project experience is a huge plus.
