Platform Engineer/Consultant (UoP)

Responsibilities

• You lead the architecture, design and implementation of Kubernetes environments based on public cloud or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)
• You create and advise on multi-cloud container orchestration environments according to customer requirements
• Together with the team, you implement and automate CI/CD pipelines, as well as the automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design system solutions using open source components
• You are the decisive voice in cloud cost engineering for complex system landscapes
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping to create relevant content for customers and interested parties about your field of activity (e.g. specialist articles, blog posts, conference presentations)
• You also enjoy deepening your knowledge in advanced topics such as container orchestration, multi-cloud, edge cloud, cloud-native application migration, serverless or microservice architecture

Qualification

• You have successfully completed a university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or similar
• You are a Kubernetes expert with relevant practical experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (certifications are a plus, but not necessary)
• You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or Cloud SDKs
• Concepts, tools and frameworks such as GitOps, Helm, IDPs, cloud native architectures, self-contained systems, site reliability engineering are part of your daily bread and butter business
• Very good communication skills in English and Polish and a willingness to travel round off your profile
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter
