Senior Java Software Developer (B2B)

Responsibilities

• You will join a vast multidisciplinary agile team of experts and develop modern microservices applications.
• You will take care of the relationship with the business customers in order to understand their needs and expectations.
• Together with your agile team, you will define the next sprint, provide estimates and create solution proposals for complicated tasks.
• Code reviews are standard for you and you like to help colleagues by giving them advice, finding their best fit within the team, and providing insightful hints for their growth.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Java, Kafka and databases (MONGO DB, ORACLE) in microservices backend architecture. Practical experience with agile development methods such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD.
• Good working knowledge of container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes or Openshift.
• Experience with DevOps activities related to CI/CD and environments setup.
• Knowledge of development best practices, security, continuous delivery and testing.
• Fluency in English is a must, as it is our everyday language.
• Availability to work in a remote/hybrid mode. Remote workers, we invite to the office once every month.
• Nice to have: Experience in FinTech industry, in particular in payments processing.
