API Support Developer (with .NET experience)

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused API Support Engineer to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting and improving our public-facing API, which is a core product offering. You will work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and gather feedback, while also contributing to the development and enhancement of the API.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with APIs, assisting customers and want to grow into a Back end Developer position in the near future. If you have a problem-solving mindset, great communication skills, and a curiosity for development, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

🔹 Help Customers Succeed with Our API

• Assist users in understanding and integrating our API.
• Troubleshoot API-related issues and provide clear solutions.
• Work with the engineering team to resolve more complex challenges.
• Monitor API performance and ensure reliability.

🔹 Contribute to API Development & Enhancement

• Work with .NET Core to improve and expand our API features.
• Implement new features based on customer feedback.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Test and debug API updates to maintain high quality.

🔹 Create Helpful Documentation

• Write and update API guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting FAQs.
• Empower customers with self-service solutions.
• Advocate for best practices in API usage.

🔹 Collaborate with Teams Across the Company

• Be the link between customers and our engineering team.
• Partner with product managers to align API updates with business goals.
• Share customer insights to shape future development.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills

• Solid knowledge of .NET Core 
• Experience in developing and supporting APIs
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman, Swagger.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Some experience with authentication methods like OAuth or API keys.

• Clear communication and the ability to explain technical concepts simply.

Education & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of experience in API development/ support or related roles
