The Competence Center for Cloud Adoption and Custom Development specializes in operating, integrating, and continuously optimizing various corporate services using public cloud solutions. We emphasize cross-functional collaboration and agile principles to deliver comprehensive end-to-end services with a focus on customer satisfaction.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, contributing to the orchestration, automation, and optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure. With a solid understanding of cloud computing and a passion for continuous learning, you'll help ensure our infrastructure meets the evolving demands of our business. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our cloud operations, implement best practices in DevOps, and provide scalable and reliable solutions to support our applications and services. Additionally, you will leverage the newest technologies, such as AI, to drive innovation and efficiency in our cloud solutions.

What You Will Do

• design and implement cutting-edge public cloud services (IaaS/PaaS) by developing infrastructure as code to host modern applications that utilize AI, enhancing automation and efficiency
• secure and maintain cloud infrastructure and operate applications in the public cloud in close cooperation with the application managers
• create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration, continuous testing, and automated deployment for efficient and reliable software delivery
• support application managers with the launch, adoption, and optimization of cloud solutions
• consult and support application managers and internal customers in security related questions/topics as well as contributed to internal projects as an SME

What You Bring

• degree in computer science, engineering, science, or similar field and working experience with public cloud solutions as well as hands-on experience working with public cloud services, focusing on Azure Cloud 
• experience and know-how for IT security around cloud services (IaaS/PaaS) and cloud solutions (SaaS)
• experience in creating and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• nice to have: shell scripting or Powershell experience
• open-minded and autonomous work attitude with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction 
• very good English language skills, German is a benefit
