Test Manager for future needs

We are looking for a Test Manager for future needs to join Sopra Steria Apps Services on a project developed for one our European clients within the telecommunication industry. We are looking for people who will be able to start in the second quarter of the year.

The scope of provided services is to ensure test planning and preparation in order to derive targeted test cases that cover all relevant functions and scenarios, as well as test execution—error analysis, implementation and maintenance of automated tests, quality assurance, documentation maintenance and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

• Product Testing: Evaluation and verification of test scope, coordination and execution of progression, regression and migration tests
• Partner Onboarding & Commissions Testing: Preparation, coordination and execution of progression, regression and migration tests
• Test case creation: coordination of the test scope, provision of test cases, enablement reporting
• Migration testing: planning migrations with the Tribe, coordinating tests and defect rectification
• Migration preparation: definition of exclusion rules and preparation of test runs
• Defect handling: coordination on the business side, coordination of requirements, evaluation of defects, triage calls, reporting of defect and test status
• Defect handling process: coordination of processes with various stakeholders, support with ticket creation and launch release
• Defect & Test Enablement: Onboarding of testers, support with tests as an interface to test teams and adjustments in Jira/Confluence
• Planning & control: Project planning, coordination of test periods and scope, strategic development of the team to overcome test challenges
• Reporting & stakeholder management: daily reporting on test progress, defects and risks
• Test enablement: management of the test inventory, process operation of infrastructure provisioning, service SIM activation

Must have requirements:

• Strong leadership skills 
• 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience as a Test Manager or Quality Manager 
• Experience in test management tools (e.g.: JIRA, ALM, Spira) 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process  
• Fluent English B2/C1 
• Excellent communication skills, analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
• EU citizenship
• Being open to business trips and occasional visits in our office in Katowice
