Senior/Lead Angular Developer with Micro Frontends

People First is a mobile-first integrated platform that covers all your HR and payroll needs from a single, easy-to-use, real-time, integrated platform. The platform is modular so that it can grow with you as your needs change and the core platforms can be enhanced by purchasing.

We are looking for someone to develop new functionality for an HR management system in the UK, using an existing monolithic solution based on Angular.

Principal Responsibilities and Activities

• Provide formal and qualified estimates of development effort.
• Use specific design, analysis and language capabilities to provide required functionality in accordance with agreed timescales and to the prevailing standards.
• Contribute to requirement and design reviews.
• Produce and execute product test plans to assure the quality of your own work prior to independent testing.
• Participate in quality assurance work, as required, to ensure delivered products are fit for purpose.
• Ensure risks and concerns are escalated to the Team Leader.
• Facilitate and fulfil tasks as a member of an agile team, using agile practices (e.g. peer reviews and Test Driven Development, daily stand up meetings).
• Discover new technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements.
• Where requested, lead product development exercises preparing plans, monitoring and Report on progress.
• Produce and review documentation intended for internal and external publication.
• Attend and contribute to meetings with customers or internal ambassadors where appropriate.
• Mentor more junior members of the team.
