Job description
Fully remote
Recruitment process: one/two interviews + possible task to perform
Project: Adaption and extension of an existing set of Python libraries. The engineer will modify the system to be able to run in an AWS
environment.
Profile:
· Degree in relevant subjects, e.g. bioinformatics, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline.
· Strong skills in (scientific) Python and familiarity with relevant frameworks and tools.
· Familiarity with software engineering tools and methods: Source control (GitHub / GitLab), CI/CD, containerization, software packaging.
· Strong experience in designing scalable solutions that leverage high performance computing or cloud environments
· Hands-on experience with AWS services
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
· At least 5+ years of relevant experience
