Fullstack Developer (Kotlin + React)

About the project: 

We are looking for Senior Fullstack Developer (Kotlin + React) for Stepwise, fully remote based Software House, who would like to join an engineering-oriented company.

We’re excited to join a dynamic team of one of our clients from the Netherlands. Team is dedicated to finance technology, leveraging Kotlin and React to drive innovative solutions.

This role is perfect for a developer:

• with a senior proficiency in Kotlin and a junior/mid level understanding of React,
• ready to bring a DevOps mindset to the table.

You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) within a collaborative, agile environment. While this is a fresh team buildout with no current Stepwise expertise in these technologies, you’ll work alongside a strong team from client side familiar with other tech stacks, allowing for a solid knowledge foundation and collaborative growth. The team (12+ people) will be divided into 3 teams as Finance: O2C, P2P, R2R.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Kotlin development experience
• 1+ years of React development experience
• Experience in creating complex solutions
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work in close cooperation with the Client
• Experience of working in Agile projects.
• Good knowledge of English (min. B2 level)

Responsibilities:

• Developing new features of the Core of the System
• Fetch guidelines from other teams and discuss business cases with stakeholders
• Participation in the demanding Code Review process
• Working closely with Client and Stepwise to improve our software delivery process
• Identifying bottlenecks in the process and removing them (Daily, Retro, BrainStormings)
• Helping identifying problems in the system
