WHAT TASKS AWAIT YOU?
- Implementing and maintaining GitOps workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automating DT network elements using Magenta CICD automation platform.
- Collaborating with development teams to integrate version control management practices into the software lifecycle.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficiency and reliability of deployment processes.
- Working in an international TDI environment, collaborating with teams from different countries.
- Keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in the GitOps and DevOps communities and suggesting process and tool improvements.
WHAT SKILLS WILL BE APPRECIATED?
- Proficient in GitOps methodologies, including declarative configuration and automated deployment pipelines
- Experience with popular GitOps tools, such as Flux and ability to select the appropriate tool for specific telco requirements
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git, to manage and track infrastructure and application configurations
- Familiar with Go-Lang, Python and Bash/Shell
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies as foundational components for GitOps in telco
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate infrastructure provisioning
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and management, focusing on automated, repeatable deployments
- Experience working with diverse telco vendors and understanding their unique workload requirements and integrations
- Ability to create flexible GitOps frameworks adaptable to different vendor technologies and deployment patterns
- Skilled in creating modular and reusable templates that can be applied to various telco use cases and vendors
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot deployment failures and rollback issues within GitOps pipelines
- Ability to provide operational support for GitOps-driven deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery for telco services
- Experience with debugging distributed systems and network-related issues within cloud-native telco environments.
