Database Reliability Engineer - NoSQL

What you’ll do:

• Work with: Cassandra, DynamoDB, AWS, Terraform, Opensearch
• Manage and optimize Cassandra and DynamoDB databases, focusing on performance, scalability, and availability
• Develop and implement data models for new applications to meet business requirements
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for NoSQL databases through robust planning and execution
• Automate routine database tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with application teams to optimize data models and queries for performance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra and DynamoDB
• Strong understanding of data modeling, scaling, and performance optimization
• Experience with high-availability architectures and disaster recovery planning
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
