Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview:

As a Junior Engineer, you will begin your journey in building and maintaining platforms that meet the needs of our global clients. Your work will contribute to the infrastructure of client-focused solutions while you develop your technical skills. You'll be part of a supportive development team of 3 to 9 members, where you'll learn to craft scalable and resilient systems through hands-on experience. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with both experienced developers and our clients, allowing you to gain valuable insights while ensuring our solutions align with client requirements and expectations.

In this role, you'll have the chance to work on real-life projects from day one, with mentorship from senior team members who are invested in your growth. We value fresh perspectives and eagerness to learn, making this an ideal position for someone looking to build a strong foundation in engineering while making meaningful contributions to client projects.

Job requirements

→ Decent knowledge of at least one backend programming language and the willingness to learn more.

→ At least 6 months of commercial experience.

→ Eagerness to acquire new skills.

→ Basic knowledge of networking and distributed systems.

→ Basic knowledge of SQL databases.

→ Basic knowledge of version control system.

→ Great command of written and spoken English (B2 and above) and Polish (C1 or native).

→ Availability to join the team on a full-time basis.

It's even better if you have:

→ A degree or an on-going studies in Computer Science (or related).

→ Basic knowledge of front-end technologies.

→ Familiarity with OOP principles and techniques.

→ Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems

Salary:

Junior Engineer: 8,000-11,100 PLN net on B2B (or equivalent on Civil Law Contract). 

Including additional day off and paid bank holidays.

Office in Kraków with hybrid possibility.
