Senior Java/React Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced Java/React Developer to join our client, a global leader in environmental monitoring solutions. The company specializes in providing accurate and reliable data to support business decisions, ensure safety, and protect the environment.

As part of the development team, you will work on software critical for collecting and processing IoT data from weather measurement devices. The software applies complex rules and algorithms to the data, reporting it to the client’s Data Hub and playing a key role in weather forecasting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Build new features and maintain existing software components, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Modernization: Lead architectural updates, transitioning to a modular, scalable design aligned with modern practices.
• Containerization: Refactor and package existing software for deployment in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Microservices Architecture: Leverage expertise in microservices to guide system modernization, ensuring smooth integration and deployment.
• Frontend Development: Develop and maintain user-facing components with React, ensuring seamless interaction with backend services.
• DevOps Integration: Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, test automation, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and data scientists, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in full-stack development, with strong expertise in Java, React, and DevOps practices.
• Java Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Java and Springboot, with experience in building and maintaining backend services and APIs.
• React Skills: Strong experience in building responsive and dynamic front-end applications using React.
• DevOps Knowledge: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, test automation, and monitoring tools. Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Microservices Expertise: Proven ability to refactor and modularize systems for deployment in microservices environments.
• IoT and Data Processing: Understanding of IoT systems and experience with data processing, including complex rules and algorithms.
• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex front-end and back-end issues.
• Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
