Senior DevOps Engineer

At Viio, we're on a mission to redefine how businesses plan, manage and optimize their software investments. Our product provides 360-degree visibility into all their SaaS and cloud vendors, offers intelligent recommendations for license and contract optimization, and helps companies save up to 30% of their annual spend. Having just raised a €3.3 million seed investment round, we're expanding our team and looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join us on this exciting journey.

About the Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Viio, you'll shape and drive our cloud infrastructure and deployment practices. You'll work with modern cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code tools, managing environments that support our growing platform serving hundreds of thousands of employees and processing millions of data points daily. This role involves architecting scalable infrastructure solutions, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring optimal resource utilization across our cloud environments.

What you’ll do

• Infrastructure and Cloud Management: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our platform.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines, and ensure reliable and efficient delivery of our software across different environments.
• Monitoring and Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions, establish alerting mechanisms, and maintain observability systems to ensure platform health and performance.
• Cost and Resource Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize cloud resource utilization, implement cost-saving strategies, and maintain efficient resource allocation across our infrastructure.

Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure management.
• You possess deep knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform).
• You have extensive experience with CI/CD tools and practices, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring solutions.
• You understand security best practices and have experience implementing them in cloud environments.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and can effectively troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• You're data-driven and analytical, with experience in resource optimization and cost management.
• You have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
