What we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the Stateful team. Working from our office in Stockholm and help us maintain, expand and evolve our Cassandra database offering.

The Stateful team is the backbone of our data infrastructure and tooling. Playing a vital role in delivering essential database services and developing tools to meet the evolving needs of the Tink organization. We are actively expanding our team, seeking talented Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and DevOps engineers who can bring their expertise to drive our database services to new heights.

What we offer you:

A position in the Stateful team means working in an international environment where you will be involved in:

• Ensuring scalability and reliability of our most critical operational data store. Primarily Cassandra.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the database services and tools align with their evolving requirements and use cases.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

●5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years

of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0

years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

●Proven experience in managing Cassandra databases at scale.

●A strong desire to foster teamwork and collaborative efforts.

●Working in an IaC environment using tooling such as Terraform, or Ansible

●Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog

Preferred Qualification

●6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years

of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or

up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

●Familiarity with AWS, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Zookeeper, and Kafka

●Extensive industry experience, including mentoring of junior engineers.
