What you'll get to do:
Data Management:
- Maintain existing and identify new data sources, including financial, project-related, and other relevant data.
- Collect, verify, analyze, and model data, ensuring data security within the data warehouse.
BI Solution Management:
- Develop and manage the BI solution, ensuring operational continuity, accurate data flow, and proper access control.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve software and hardware issues.
BI Development and Enhancement:
- Design and implement new functionalities within the BI system and other reporting systems.
- Ensure the overall consistency and accuracy of the BI system.
Reporting and Data Visualization:
- Deliver, maintain, modify, and provide access to data, reports, and dashboards within the BI tool (currently Power BI).
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Support the analysis of financial data and key performance indicators.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve processes, systems, data management, and reporting through new technological solutions.
- Seek innovative ways to build trust in data and systems.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
- Collaborate with various business areas (primarily finance and other administrative departments) to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Ensure efficient and timely communication with BI stakeholders.
- Liaise with external consultants regarding BI system development.
- Provide guidance and share expertise on BI system usage, data management, business process mapping, and solution design.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain documentation (project documentation, user manuals, etc.).
- Train users on BI solutions and assist in organizing external training sessions.
- Inform users about system updates, new functionalities, new reports, system errors, and their estimated resolution time.
Team Management:
- Build competencies and foster development within the team (consists of 2 people).
- Delegate responsibilities and tasks within the team.
- Lead the recruitment process when necessary.
What you should have:

Data Warehousing and ETL: Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, SSIS, SSAS, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.

BI Tools Expertise: Proficiency in leading BI platforms like Power BI, including data visualization best practices. Strong knowledge of DAX.

Database Management: Strong SQL skills for querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization. Familiarity with various database systems.

Programming Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for data cleaning and automation.

Business Process Understanding: Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver BI solutions that address real-world problems.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, draw conclusions, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Team Management & Collaboration: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team of BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee the entire BI project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Adaptability & Continuous Learning: The BI landscape is constantly evolving. A successful BI Manager embraces new technologies, tools, and methodologies to stay ahead of the curve.
Bonus Points if you have:

Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing and BI solutions (e.g. Google BigQuery).
