Development Cybersecurity Specialist

We are now looking for a Development Cybersecurity Specialist who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission. In order to achieve this, you will be working together with Head of Cybersecurity. 

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Establish and implement best practices and standards for cybersecurity (CS) in product development.
• Develop and maintain relevant security policies.
• Ensure that development, configuration, deployment, and operations align with internal requirements and comply with applicable security regulations and standards.
• Implement security processes, tools, and methods for development under the guidance of the Head of Development Cybersecurity.
• Work operatively in the process to drive assessments and mitigations.
• Collaborate with and guide internal stakeholders inside and outside the development team.
• Generate reports from GitHub Advanced Security.
• Follow each product line in the context of security standard measures and adjustments.
• Contribute to preparing materials for security online courses. 

What you need to succeed:

• Strong understanding of software development.
• Good and structured operational skills.
• Project management skills to define timelines and monitor status/progress with stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of security aspects in development.
• Willingness to learn and expand security knowledge in development.
• Ability to proactively ensure stakeholders deliver all reports, fixes, and data on time according to the plan.

The position reports to Head of Cybersecurity Development and cooperates closely with the Head of Development and Software Engineers. We are looking to hire for Volue office in Gdańsk but will be ready to consider other locations for the right candidate.
