Location: Warsaw or Wrocław (hybrid work: 2-3 days in the office)

Rate: 170 PLN per hour

Cooperation model: B2B or Employment Contract

Your role is:

-> To architect, develop and maintain efficient backend systems in a fast-paced environment.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 6+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for backend development;

-> Extensive experience with Node.js for backend development; 

-> Experience with CI/CD tools and package managers such as npm or yarn; 

-> Proven experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Firebase, as well as handling SQL databases for Node.js applications;

-> Strong familiarity with serverless architecture and experience using AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.) and other cloud infrastructure for deploying and managing backend systems;

-> Solid experience with AWS services for scaling and deploying backend applications is a must;

-> Ability to design scalable, event-driven backend systems using Node.js;

-> Knowledge of microservices, RESTful API design, and GraphQL;

-> Proficiency in debugging, refactoring, and writing clean, testable code. Strong experience in unit testing and familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha;

-> Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum B2 level);

-> A solid educational foundation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, ensuring strong technical principles essential for the role.

Nice to have:

+ Familiarity with frameworks like Express or NestJS;

+ Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Babel;

+ Knowledge of GCP or Azure;

+ Experience with Docker for containerizing Node.js applications and streamlining development and deployment;

+ Proficiency in third-party API integration such as payment gateways and social logins, ensuring secure, scalable connections;

+ Ability to participate in architecture discussions to design scalable, maintainable backend systems, with knowledge of event-driven architecture.
