Quality Engineer

We looking for a Quality Automation Engineer with strong REST API experience to work in a Data and Distribution team. Our client is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. 

Our new QA should be open to hybrid work from our Tricity office (+/- 1 day per week or once a month but for a few days ). 

Your main responsibilities for this position will be:

• Creating an automation framework to test REST APIs within an AWS environment.
• Writing code (ideally Python) to implement the test scenarios.
• Performing manual testing.
• Working closely with Product Management and key stakeholders to prioritize multiple requirements at a time.
• Being responsible for technical analysis and producing documentation.

This offer will be a perfect match for you if you have:

• 5+ years of software quality automation experience.
• Willingness to work from the office (one day per week or once a month for a few days).
• Expertise in automation testing with several different frameworks.
• Good coding skills.
• Strong experience with REST APIs.
• Good database and SQL experience.

It would be nice if you have:

• Good exposure to AWS Components (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS)
• A degree in Project Management / Computer Science or a related field.
