Data Engineer - MS SQL Server

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer specializing in MS SQL Server to design, develop, and optimize database solutions for our Customer while ensuring data integrity and security. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and implementing robust solutions using modern tools like Databricks and Data Factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine data requirements.
• Monitor and tune production systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all systems.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design principles.
• Proven hands-on experience with Databricks and Data Factory (minimum 1 year).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of data integrity and security best practices.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with modern data warehousing and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure for database management.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques for large datasets.
