Requirements:

1. Cloud Technologies (Azure)

In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure environment, including:

• Azure Infrastructure (data-related components)
• Networking and Authorization in Azure
• Management and design of cloud infrastructure

2. Data Platforms and Tools

Knowledge and experience with data platforms:

• Azure Synapse (especially Synapse Serverless and Synapse Pipelines)
• Databricks (including DLT Pipeline, Workflows, and Administration)
• Data Lakehouse and its architecture
• Concepts of Medallion Architecture and Metadata-Driven ETL

3. Programming Languages and Data Processing Technologies

• Python – programming and code optimization
• Apache Spark – design and development of data processing workflows
• SQL – creating, optimizing queries, and managing databases

4. ETL / ELT Processes and Data Architecture

• Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL / ELT processes
• Understanding best practices in data warehouse design
• Ability to manage large datasets in a Data Lakehouse approach

5. Integration, Automation, and Optimization

• Developing and implementing CI/CD processes for Synapse, Databricks, and other services
• Code and data processing optimization
• Implementing logging and monitoring solutions for processes and applications

6. Technical and Visualization Tools

• Ability to use Power BI and create reports on analytical platforms
• Designing scalable solutions and data platforms
• Applying best software engineering practices
• Strong knowledge of GIT and branching strategy in Azure DevOps

8. Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to share knowledge (technical documentation, presentations)
• Mentoring

9. Leadership Experience

• Experience as a Lead Engineer
• Managing project teams and leading projects
