Responsibilities:

• design, develop, and maintain modern Android, web, and backend applications using Kotlin,
• build secure and reliable APIs using Kotlin and Spring Boot,
• manage application builds and deployments with Gradle and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines,
• package applications into Docker containers and deploy them effectively,
• handle scalable deployment and orchestration of applications using Kubernetes,
• collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and stakeholders,
• ensure code quality by following best practices and performing code reviews,
• test, debug, and optimize applications to ensure smooth performance and high availability,
• mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a positive team culture,
• continuously seek improvements and adopt emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:

• proven experience in Kotlin development for Android, backend, or web applications,
• strong knowledge of Spring Boot for building scalable APIs and backend services,
• hands-on experience with Gradle for build automation and managing dependencies,
• familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps,
• proficiency in containerization technologies, especially Docker,
• experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes,
• solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code principles and proper documentation,
• strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on testing, debugging, and performance optimization,
• excellent communication and collaboration skills,
• previous experience mentoring junior developers is a plus,
• willingness to stay current with new technologies and continuously improve development processes.
