Description
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative UX Designer to join our team. This unique role will focus on 1) designing intuitive educational solutions to enhance AI competencies among Volvo employees and 2) transforming the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to improve supply chain transparency and efficiency. Two very different initiatives where AI stands in the center.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Learning Solutions:
- Design interfaces and information architecture for AI learning solutions, including platforms, pathways, and chatbots.
- Create interactive learning journeys tailored to various personas and levels of expertise.
- Develop personalized learning paths based on UX research insights to facilitate effective AI learning.
- Co-develop interactive AI-driven learning assistants, such as AI-powered chatbots, to support employee training.
- Create prototypes for educational platforms and AI learning tools, ensuring a user-centered design approach.
- Collaborate with UX Researchers to test and iteratively improve designs based on user feedback.
- Work with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure an optimal learning experience.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement designs following UX best practices.
S&OP Process Transformation:
- Optimize global capacity allocation to meet customer and market demands effectively.
- Improve demand forecasting and product mix strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Enhance risk assessment processes within the supply chain to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between supply chain strategies and educational initiatives.
Must-Have (Essential Requirements):
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably in educational technology or learning experience platforms.
- Experience in designing interactive learning platforms or AI-powered educational tools.
- Strong knowledge of UX processes, including research, prototyping, testing, and iterative improvements.
- Proficiency in UX/UI tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
- Basic knowledge of AI and ML technologies and their impact on UX.
- Experience working with Product and Development teams.
- Understanding of Design Systems and Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and S&OP methodologies.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred Skills):
- Experience in designing AI-driven interfaces, such as AI chatbots for learning.
- Familiarity with Learning Experience Design (LXD) and instructional design principles.
- Ability to work with UX analytics data to iteratively improve solutions.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and risk assessment in supply chain management.
