We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customer Solutions Engineer to support partner and customer engagements around Google Sovereign Cloud solutions, with a focus on Sovereign Controls and Trusted Partner Cloud (TPC) offerings. DM or send email to (marcillina.tietjen@dcvtechnologies.co.uk)
This is a customer-facing, on-site role based in Munich. You will be responsible for leading technical sessions, building prototypes, and presenting compelling demonstrations to customers and partners, specifically in regulated and sovereignty-conscious environments. (Note: Google Distributed Cloud is out of scope for this position.)
Customer Solutions Engineer – Google Cloud (Sovereign Cloud)
Location: Munich, Germany (100% On-site)
Contract Type: B2B
Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)
Languages: English and German (required)
General Requirements
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a NATO country (excluding 5-Eyes nations)
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to live and work in the EU
Language Requirements:
English (proficient)
German (fluent)
French and/or Hebrew fluency is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with customer Product Management, Go-To-Market, and Sales teams to craft tailored sovereign cloud demonstrations
Lead Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs), technical workshops, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Deliver presentations, technical enablement sessions, and prototype showcases that highlight the value of Sovereign Cloud solutions
Provide regular feedback to the internal product team based on customer and partner interactions, identifying feature gaps and improvement areas
Required Skills & Experience
Google Cloud Administration & Architecture: Deep experience across GCP infrastructure, security, data, and AI services
Technical Evangelism & Enablement: Skilled in building and delivering training materials, technical demos, and presentations that clearly illustrate the “art of the possible”
Content Development: Ability to create compelling enablement assets for internal and external use (e.g. slides, labs, code samples)
EU Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with EU Sovereignty requirements, evolving regulatory landscapes, and the specific needs of Public Sector or highly regulated industries
Nice to Have
Experience in public sector consulting or regulated enterprise environments
Hands-on experience with Google Sovereign Controls or Trusted Partner Cloud
Working knowledge of French and/or Hebrew
