Front-end developer with UI/UX design background

Our client is developing a decentralized AI platform powered by blockchain, enabling the swift creation, sharing, and monetization of AI services. The platform operates as a marketplace where developers can publish and sell various AI tools, while users can test, purchase, and use them.

The project’s mission is to create an open and independent artificial general intelligence, accessible to everyone, dedicated to benefiting humanity and remaining free from the control of individual companies or governments.

As a Front-end UX developer, you will bridge the gap between design and development, working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver innovative and user-centric solutions. You will be responsible for implementing complex user interfaces, ensuring they are both visually appealing and functionally robust. Your expertise in both design and front-end development will be crucial in creating a cohesive and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and user interfaces for AI products.
• Translate high-level design concepts and wireframes into functional, interactive prototypes.
• Develop and maintain UI components and front-end code, ensuring consistency across platforms. Contribute to the Design Systems when necessary.
• Optimize user interfaces for maximum performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve the user experience.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless integration of the user interface with the AI services, blockchains, and open protocols. 
• Advocate for the user experience throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX design, front-end development, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Svelte, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Additional experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries will be a big plus.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, with a portfolio and case studies showcasing your design and development work.
• Must be proficient and highly skilled in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design support tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile development methodologies.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
• Persona-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover user insights. Can take those insights and define the desired user outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively within a team.
• Experience with AI or machine learning technologies is a plus.
