Java Developer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Banking
• Location: hybrid (visit the Warsaw office once every two weeks)
• Remuneration: up to 160 PLN/h
• Project language: English
• Start: ASAP

Main Responsibilities:

• Enhancing and upgrading our existing monolithic and micro-service applications.
• Collaborate within the team to design and implement improvements.
• Participate actively in the Scrum framework for effective task management.
• Contribute to the redesigning of our systems during this critical phase.
• Build and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless data flow.
• Ensure code quality and functionality through rigorous testing and reviews.
• Support and mentor junior developers and peers.
• Document and communicate technical processes and solutions effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Senior Java Developer or Mid+ level with relevant motivation.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Java (versions 8, 17, or 21).
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Maven framework.
• Basic understanding of micro-services architecture.
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with GIT, TeamCity, and Maven environments.
• Pro-active learner with a passion for technology.
• Experience or knowledge of Apache Kafka is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• UI/UX experience or awareness.
