Microsoft 365 Platform/System Engineer (Senior)

About the role: we are looking for a Microsoft 365 Sr. Platform/System Engineer, who will become a part of a cross-country M365 team of 12 dedicated professionals. Our client’s M365 Development team manages and maintains Microsoft 365 Administration services for 25 bank customers in Denmark. They are passionate about modern workplace solutions, and they thrive on developing M365 environments with security, compliance, and automation in mind.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 services, including Copilot, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Office 365 suite.
• Ensuring availability, performance, and security of M365 services.
• Implementing and managing security measures to protect M365 environments.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks.
• Handling M365 2nd line incidents and requests.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve and optimize workplace solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid experience in managing Microsoft 365 services.
• Strong knowledge of M365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
• Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and MS Purview.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A curious mind with an open nature and willingness to share knowledge with others.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards for cloud services.
• Knowledge of networking and identity management in a cloud environment.
• Experience in the banking sector.
