Estimated Workload for an Experienced TCMS/Assessor - Engineer
1. Preliminary Assessment Report (November 2025)
- Analysis of existing TCMS software & documentation → 80–120 h
- Comparison with EN 50716:2023 & gap identification → 60–80 h
- Drafting the preliminary report & review iterations → 40–60 h
-> TOTAL: 180–260 h (~ 4–6 weeks)
2. Final Assessment & Certification (Spring/Summer 2026)
- Detailed review & compliance verification with EN 50716:2023 → 120–160 h
- Coordination with certification bodies, answering queries → 60–80 h
- Final report & certification document preparation, internal/external reviews → 80–100 h
-> TOTAL: 260–340 h (~ 7–9 weeks)
3. Optional Delta Assessment (End of 2026, if modifications occur)
- Review of modified software components → 60–80 h
- Creation of an addendum report & certification → 40–60 h
- >TOTAL: 100–140 h (~ 3–4 weeks)
