Senior UI Engineer

Role: Senior UI Engineer

Form of cooperation: Full Time Employment (Umowa o Pracę)

Work type: Hybrid (3 days per week / 12 days per month from Warsaw)

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting, enhancing, and maintaining sophisticated user-facing applications that enable quick and easy interaction with real-time analytics. Your work will directly contribute to the visualization, analysis, and consumption of critical big data sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and refine interactive features, reusable UI components, and performance-optimized applications within an established React-based real-time platform.
• Enhance and tailor third-party libraries to ensure peak performance across multiple web-enabled devices, including mobile platforms.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to construct user-friendly, efficient, and intuitive interfaces that cater to a diverse financial stakeholder base.
• Integrate real-time data streams, enabling users to dynamically filter, analyse, and visualize complex datasets.
• Contribute to strategic discussions on architecture and scalability.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve UI performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 + years of experience in UI development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining React-based web applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency with state management solutions such as Redux, MobX, or RxJS, optimizing performance and scalability.

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience integrating real-time data feeds into visualization tools and third-party charting libraries.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical business users.
• Interest in financial markets, investments and trading.
