You’re a Senior System Administrator and Operations Engineer with 5+ years of professional, full-time experience. Your recent experience includes designing, managing, securing, and monitoring infrastructure for a SaaS products, and cooperating closely with development teams and other stakeholders.
For this position Polish language (C1 level) is a must. You do not have to live in Poland, but you need to be able to communicate fluently in Polish. Timezone restrictions apply - you need to have 4 hours of overlap with Central Europe during business hours.
- Have proven experience as a System Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Have strong knowledge of cloud platforms like Heroku, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
- Have experience with security practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, GDPR)
- Are proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, sed/awk, Python, Ruby etc.), and command line tools
- Have experience with infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform
- Have experience with any SQL and NoSQL databases, and can write complex queries
- Are familiar with monitoring tools such as New Relic and Datadog
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
- Have prior experience with Atlassian Ecosystem tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Have excellent communication skills in Polish & English
- Have experience optimizing application and database performance
- Feel strongly about security and aspire to be part of or lead our security-related projects
- Managed migrations between different cloud providers
- Have hands-on experience with threat analysis
- Managing, maintaining, and securing our infrastructure, including configuration and monitoring of external tools and services such as Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace and Cloud, Amazon Web Services, eMetabase, and more
- Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our systems by maintaining backups, updating software, and monitoring alerts
- Implementing and enforcing security measures, including configuring systems for 2FA, managing firewalls, audits, and coordinating penetration testing
- Setting up and driving company security, and privacy standards and policies in collaboration with other stakeholders (Privacy Manager etc.)
- Collaborating with development teams to plan for scalability and growth, making informed decisions on tools, infrastructure, and cost optimization
- Developing and maintaining internal tools, scripts, and integrations to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including user access management, SAML rollout, and enforcing role-based access control
- Participating in incident response, investigating and resolving system issues promptly, and implementing post-mortems for continuous improvement
- Building simple internal tools/reports in Metabase (SQL) to help with data analysis for Product Managers and marketing
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Support, and Product, to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
- Long-term B2B contract: 25k-35k PLN net + VAT/month or 75k-105k USD annually

No crazy hours
There may be rare occasions when things get crazy and extra hours are needed, but you can take time off to compensate. But overall, we prefer to work smarter than harder as we’re in this for the long haul and don’t want anyone to burn out.
Retreat
It’s great to work anywhere, but we also believe it’s great to meet and have some fun together. We try to organize at least one annual retreat to spend quality time together, eat great food, have a drink, and talk about life.
