Our Tax Technology team deals with creating and implementing advanced IT solutions that support wide range of business and tax calculation processes. They are related mainly to international personal income taxes (GMS – Global Mobility Services) and management of human resources. We work in global and diverse environment and cooperate with various teams around the world including Europe, Americas and Asia. We are looking for candidates with passion, who would like to join our rapidly growing team of engineers in Kraków and Warszawa. Responsibilities:
- Support Internal KPMG Client Implementation Team in the configuration of our GMS suite of applications.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve application and configuration issues.
- Monitor application performance and proactively address potential problems.
- Work closely with Development, Quality and Infrastructure Teams to implement continuous improvements and updates.
- Develop and enforce governance strategies to help streamlining business processes as well as technical standards.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical stakeholders.
- Document support activities, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or Software Engineer.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, including web application technology and object-oriented programming
- A strong focus on Continuous Improvement and flow optimization.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including PaaS, API management, and log analysis.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both business users and technical developers.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in both team settings and distributed environments.
Additional assets:
- Experience with Azure Portal and Azure DevOps
- Knowledge in JSON, C#, front-end programming languages (Angular, HTML/CSS) and microservice architecture
