Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

Kyotu Technology is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and work on the Java Development. This role involves developing and maintaining cutting-edge solutions for integration platforms and supporting key software components critical to our operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on diverse software development & consulting projects with varying scopes and technologies.
• Handle small development tasks, integrations, and technical consultations across multiple clients.
• Adapt quickly to new codebases, domains, and challenges (high context switching).
• Contribute to backend development in Java and other languages as needed.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Take ownership of tasks with flexibility in working hours, including occasional overtime.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong backend experience in Java (core focus) + at least one other backend technology (eg. C#, Python, JS/TS)
• Fullstack mindset – ability to work across the stack if needed.
• DevOps skills – experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployments.
• Fluent English (C1+) – comfortable in client interactions & technical discussions.
• Problem-solver, adaptable, and self-sufficient – can navigate R&D-style work.
• Experience in consulting, quick prototyping, or multi-client environments is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

•  Background in cloud architecture, automation, or security.
•  Familiarity with US-based projects and time zones.
•  Ability to lead projects
