Implementation Developer (more technical background)

Blaze is building a no-code app building platform. We are looking for a person who would work with our customers to gather requirements and build apps for them using our platform.

This role doesn't involve writing any code, but requires the ability to think like a developer and understanding of basic principles of software design. The role involves interaction with customers, so the ability to communicate in English is very important. 

We are thinking maybe a more junior developer or someone who has worked as a freelancer and is used to interacting with customers would be a good fit. The candidate does not have to be a strong developer in any particular technology or have a lot of experience, must be ok with focusing on high level aspects of building apps from pre-made components and not writing code.

It could be a candidate who has experience working as a business analyst, but it's the first time we hire for this position, so we'll have to see what kind of background works out the best.

Required

• excellent english communication skills
• good eye for design
• knowledge of SQL and the principles of relational databases
• familiar with creating database schema

Salary is flexible, depending on the skill set of a particular candidate. We would like to see what kind of candidates we could get for this type of position in Poland.

About working hours: 

They have flexible time, but:

1. We expect full time commitment (no other daytime jobs or other commitments that take considerable amount of time). If there is a deadline, and they are behind, we expect them to put additional effort to meet that deadline.

2. We have a mandatory daily scrum meeting at 6pm polish time. Afterwards, they should stay long enough to get whatever information they need to do their work the next day.

So that being said:

• Some people work few hours in the morning and then few hours in the afternoon/evening.
• Some work normal polish hours and then log off shortly after 6pm.
• Some like to work in the evenings and have a lot of overlap with us (they start in the late afternoon and they work until late night hours).

We are flexible and let anyone choose what works for them as long as the work gets done.
