Lead Full Stack Developer (PHP + Vue.js)

We are looking for an accomplished and result-oriented Lead Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in PHP and Vue.js to take ownership of full-cycle product development and lead a highly skilled, multinational team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading projects, participating in planning and estimation of new features, driving the development of core functionality, writing automated tests, performing refactoring tasks, and supporting system evolution. You’ll work closely with a modern AdTech stack and handle integrations with various third-party services.

CUSTOMER

Our client is a B2B company that delivers white-label, self-serve advertising solutions to globally recognized publishers including names like Bloomberg, The Washington Post, TripAdvisor, and Paramount.

The platform functions as a customizable ad-desk integrated with each publisher’s existing infrastructure, such as ad servers (e.g., Google DFP), CRMs, and payment providers like Adyen and Stripe. Its end users range from publishers and media owners to small and medium-sized businesses, digital marketing agencies, and sales companies seeking effective advertising solutions across web, mobile, and print formats.

PROJECT

The product is a modern, feature-rich, self-serve advertising platform tailored for global publishers. It offers capabilities such as ad forecasting, one-to-one direct deals, proposal management, comprehensive targeting options, and integrated ad tools. Developed entirely from scratch by Sigma Software, the platform includes a Laravel-based Back-end, a Vue.js-powered Front-end with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and a proprietary SDK for seamless integration with major ad Servers like DFP and AdTech Fusion.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 6 years of experience in PHP development
• Solid experience with Laravel framework
• Strong knowledge of OOP and design patterns
• Proven experience with MySQL (MariaDB)
• Hands-on experience in Git and GitFlow
• Strong understanding of CI concepts (TeamCity, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• Proficiency in AdTech domain
• Advanced Front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js)
• Experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate with all project stakeholders (clients, developers, architects, etc.), gather project requirements, and define the technical vision for proposed solutions
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Contribute to the creation of technical specifications
• Write code, develop unit and integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain software components
• Promote good design principles, such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility
• Provide support to test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues related to software installation and its operation
• Perform code review to ensure compliance with best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set forth on the project
• Continuously participate in technical risks identification and analysis, immediately notify the project manager of new risks, and suggest a mitigation strategy
• Report status and progress in alignment with project and company requirements
