Backend Team Lead

Our Client is a software house which is active one the market for more then 10 years and specializes in mobile marketing. 

The platform that you will develop allows users to make good choices and understand the ROI (return on investment) of their advertising campaigns - where their best users are coming from, how to retain them and how to provide them better value. 

Your role is:

-> To lead a team of ~4-5 developers Front End and Back End developers;

-> To take part with Developing our data collection platform;

-> To solve diverse, complex problems at a large scale;

-> To analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and stability of Client's products, environments, and tool;

-> To optimize engineering processes and tools to serve the team;

-> To improving the client's product through your own continuous development in your area of ​​expertise;

-> To take ownership and responsibility for the quality of the products you develop by enabling and executing unit testing and integration testing.

Your skills and experiences:

-> 5+ years of backend engineering experience;

-> 3+ years experience in leading a team of at least 3 developers;

-> Solid knowledge of Kafka, SQS, K8s, Postgres, event driven systems;

-> Experience with large-scale SaaS production services and databases;

-> Proficiency and ability to code well in at least one language (Java/Go, Clojure, etc. );

-> Proficiency with databases technologies such as SQL / Athena / BigQuery;

-> Ability to grasp new languages, systems, and frameworks fast;

-> A team player with a strong sense of ownership;

-> Very good command of English (at least B2).

Nice to have:

+ Experience in functional programming;

+ B.Sc. in computer science or similar.
