🟣You will be:
- interpreting and delivering strategic plans that enhance data integration, quality, and delivery, aligned with business initiatives and roadmaps,
- designing data systems’ structure and layout, encompassing databases, warehouses, and lakes,
- selecting and implementing database management systems tailored to the organization’s needs, defining data schemas, optimizing storage, and setting up data access controls and security measures,
- defining and implementing long-term technology strategies and innovation roadmaps for analytics, data engineering, and data platforms,
- defining and implementing ETL processes from various sources into the organization’s data systems,
- translating high-level business requirements into data models, metadata, test data, and data quality standards,
- working with senior business stakeholders to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic roadmaps,
- simplifying existing data architecture, delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities in line with company policies and standards,
- leading and participating in the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts across the Enterprise Architecture group through governance forums,
- defining and managing standards, guidelines, and processes to maintain data quality,
- collaborating with IT teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to understand data consumers’ needs and develop solutions,
- evaluating and recommending emerging technologies for data management, storage, and analytics,
- promoting and demonstrating adherence to agreed data architecture and governance within the organization,
- establishing architectural standards and reusable frameworks.
🟣 Your profile:
- ready to start immediately,
- openness to work on-side, from Krakow office, 2-3 days per week,
- 5+ years’ of relevant experience in design and implementation of data models for enterprise data warehouse/lake initiatives,
- experience leading projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis,
- proficiency in Python and SQL,
- experience with Power BI,
- understanding of entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, and data quality tools and techniques,
- ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs and client culture,
- ability to assess traditional and modern data architecture components based on business needs,
- ability to synthesize and clearly communicate large volumes of complex information to senior management of various technical understandings
- ability to collaborate and excel in complex, cross-functional teams involving data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders,
- ability to guide solution design and architecture to meet business needs.
Work from Poland (Krakow) and a work permit to work from Poland are required.
